Défi is an adult course method from Maison des Langues covering levels A1–B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference in 4 volumes. Using a task-based approach for language acquisition and cultural understanding, Défi offers a new approach to reading comprehension and vocabulary. Using varied text types, such as journal articles, blog posts, and text messages, Défi encourages students to use their pre-existing knowledge of subject, genre and format to read and understand French well beyond their learning.
