Rivstart A1+A2 is the first part of a basic course in Swedish as a foreign language. The material has a rapid progression and is intended for the study experienced student in Sweden and abroad. The teaching material is also suitable for the Swedish for Immigrants Programme, study route 3, course C and study associations and the equivalent level in other programmes.
The themes and language functions are based on the level descriptions for levels A1 and A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
