iPhone battery repair
Sometimes iPhone power issues are not actually caused by the battery. If your iPhone won’t turn on, try these steps as recommended by Apple to see if the issue resolves.
If you still need assistance we can test and assess your iPhone to diagnose either a battery issue or another power issue. Once we determine the cause we will provide a quote to complete the repair.
Your iPhone battery service might be covered by your warranty*, AppleCare+* or consumer law. If so we will replace your battery at no charge. Otherwise, you’ll pay an out-of-warranty fee for battery service, as shown below.
If your iPhone has any damage that impairs the replacement of the battery, such as a cracked screen, that issue will need to be resolved prior to the battery replacement.
In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the repair.
Prices listed are inclusive of GST and are subject to change. To have your iPhone assessed and serviced, drop in or make an appointment with one of our Mac1 Service locations listed here.
Click here to visit Apple’s Check Coverage page and check if your iPhone is covered by AppleCare+. You will need to enter your iPhone serial number to complete this process.
*AppleCare+ coverage is available for iPhone and its included accessories, with regards to (1) defects in materials or workmanship, (2) batteries that retain less than 80 per cent of their original capacity, and (3) up to two incidents of accidental damage.”
